

H.Sykes fretless shortscale banjo.
High quality fretless banjo possibly built by W.Temlett. H.Sykes was a composer and teacher and had these banjos built with his name on the dowel stick.
Great sounding banjo - unusual to find a fretless scortscale it is very easy to play. Spunover rim with ash lining, ebont fingerboard with nickel-silver and pearl inlays and a beautifully inlaid nickel-silver plate.
Natural head, nylon strings celluloid pegs, bone tailpiece.
