Hutchings banjos are made in central Brittany (North west France) by the banjo-maker Sam Hutchings.

A 12″ half fretless banjo built from a board of cherrywood found in a long abandoned workshop only 3 Kms away. This lightweight banjo has a thin rim and a Moso tonering for a powerful plunky tone and all the brass hardware has been chemically distressed for a beautifully unique look.
